most quicksilver props are cupped to provide greater thrust in the presence of surface air or exhaust gases.

Cupping inceases the effective pitch of a prop by one or two inches resulting in higher top speed.

FLO TORQ shock -absorbing rubber hub cushions shifting and helps protect the drive train should an underwater object be struck.

The silicon brass splined hub resists corrosion it also eliminates the need for shear or drive pins.

Jet-prop exhaust design features a flared trailing edge that reduces engine back pressure and helps prevent exhaust gases from feeding into propeller blades burying sound and fumes far behind your boat.

QUICKSILVER props are designed and manufactred for MERCURY OUTBOARD, MARINER OUTBOARD OR MERCRUISER STERNDRIVE

EVERY BOAT SHOULD HAVE A SPARE QUICK CHANGE PROP

New baby Jaguar saloon to be shown this summer

Fri, 07 Feb 2014

The new small Jaguar saloon out testing in ill-fitting XF camouflage Jaguar has made huge strides in the last few years and is now on the brink of being recognised, once again, as a major force. But so far Jaguar has been producing great cars in not the biggest-selling sectors, but that’s set to change with the new small Jaguar saloon (perhaps the Jaguar XS) which will be first shown this summer ahead of a 2015 launch. The new baby Jaguar will be entering a very competitive market place, taking on cars like the BMW 3-Series, Mercedes C-Class and Audi A4, so Jaguar are going to have to work hard to produce not only a credible car, but one that uses its ‘Britishness’ as its USP.

According to the motoring organisation, average petrol prices at the pumps are staying "stubbornly above" 130p a litre despite discounts in many areas. While a number of fortunate motorists have been getting petrol for around 128p a litre of late, the average price nationwide is 130.46p a litre, the AA said.
