Note: The trim rams are not included in this auction. This is a very clean fresh water transom assembly, no corrosion. The boat was always trailered. It has only 178 hours. This assembly will work for the Mercruiser Bravo 1,2, and 3 outdrives.. It was removed from a damaged 1990 Glastron boat with the 7.4 liter V8. Wed, 01 Jun 2011Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster outed by the US Government It’s news all Lamborghini fans have been waiting for, the confirmation that Lamborghini are going to chop the top off the LP700-4 and give us the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster. To be honest, we weren’t expecting any sort of confirmation from Lamborghini on the Aventador Roadster until later this year, perhaps with a first outing at Frankfurt in September or even Geneva early in 2012. And it’s not Lamborghini who’ve revealed the Aventador Roadster will be with us next year.

Thu, 10 Dec 2009Autodesk's Automotive Days design conferences, launched in Munich in 2008, have highlighted the key growth area of digital prototyping. And at last month's conference the focus was once again broadened to include coverage of conceptual design and creative visualization (at the very beginning of the design process) and design for manufacture - at the culmination of the process. Speakers from Autodesk outlined the innovative features of their latest product suites, while keynote presentations from leading automotive designers such as Frank Stephenson of McLaren and Volvo's Rickard Franklin showed in fascinating detail how the benefits of these software systems were being maximized in busy corporate design studios.

Tue, 03 Sep 2013While the long-wheelbase Range Rover and impressive new Range Sport hog the headlines, Land Rover has lavished a bit of TLC on its second-oldest model: the Discovery. New for this iteration are redesigned lights, a more economical engine, and a handful of extra techie options. Certainly doesn’t look like a nine-year old car, the Discovery… Strictly, this is an updated Discovery 4, which has only been on sale since 2009, but the 4 is essentially a heavily facelifted version of 2004’s Discovery 3: it retains the dual chassis unibody/body-on-frame construction responsible for the 2570kg kerb weight.
