For sale is a very nice complete running drop in marine engine. This engine was removed from a 1989 boat that had suffered stringer and floor rot. The engine has very good cylinder compression readings of 155 to 165 PSI. I ran the engine on the test stand for over an hour. Engine oil and filter were changed. Fuel filters were also replaced This engine may be used on a generation one or generation two configuration There was no hour meter installed on the boat. Oil pressure, engine temperature, alternator output were all verified within specifications. The engine will be sold as shown. Ready to drop in and run. I will work with buyer to accommodate long range shipping requirements. A custom enclosed crate is included in the price. Pickup at out location is also an option There may be an additional charge from Freightquote if the engine needs to be delivered at a residential address without a loading dock. NHTSA proposes rules for automakers to add sound to hybrids, EVs
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Automakers would need to make hybrids and electric vehicles emit sound under rules that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration proposed on Monday. The rules, ordered by Congress three years ago, are meant to protect pedestrians and bicyclists from vehicles that make little sound when using electric power. NHTSA says that designing the vehicles to make noise at speeds below 18 mph would prevent about 2,800 injuries over the life of each model year of vehicles.
Arizona auctions: Early days filled with optimism

Preliminary numbers assembled by on-site reporters indicate total sales of $20.2 million at the halfway mark, with 100 percent of the 656 cars on offer sold.
