What I have up for bids here is a good used and completely original OEM Mercruiser(mallory) distributor and coil assembly just pulled from a 898 Mercruiser 8cyl(GM 305) engine we are parting out and fitting many of the Mercruiser V8s including the 305, 350, 454, 898, 330, 260, 200, 228, 5.7L, 5.0L, etc engines and models...This set would be perfect for the guy who needs a good low cost OEM distributor for this season or maybe for the guy who wants a spare. Either way for the no reserve opening bid of just $59.99 you cant go wrong on this used distributor-coil set. As noted this set was pulled from a 898 GM 305 8cyl Mercruiser engine and is a direct replacement for that engine along with many of the 898, 330, 260, 200, 228, 5.0L, 5.7L, 305, 350, 454 and others, but please check your parts manual or dealer for more applications and fit.

The Impreza’s design has become tired and dated and needed an injection of something fresh, which the Impreza Concept certainly seems to offer. Of course, the Impreza at LA is a concept car and gets some of the usual concept fripperies like cameras for mirrors and no discernible door handles, but the basic design stands up well and should be almost all there when it goes in to production.

BMW, Mercedes consider return to 4-bangers in U.S. market

Facing stricter fuel economy standards, BMW and Mercedes-Benz are considering bringing four-cylinder engines back to the United States. BMW stopped offering four-cylinders in 1999 when its 318ti hatchback flopped. Mercedes-Benz had four-cylinder engines on the 2005 C230 and SLK230 but dropped them in favor of six-cylinder models.
