Up for grabs, I have a powerhead removed from a 1984 "tower of power" 6 cylinder 115 HP Mercury outboard. The compression in each cylinder is as follows:
  1. 122 PSI
  2. 125 PSI
  3. 122 PSI
  4. 124 PSI
  5. 124 PSI
  6. 133 PSI
I have not run the motor as it had some major electrical issues. The compression reading suggest it should run just fine. What is seen in the pictures is what is included with the powerhead. I do not expect the stator / trigger to be in working condition as the wires are damaged (see picture). There are no other known issues with the powerhead, however, as mentioned already, I have not personally run the motor due to the electrical issues it has. I believe this will bolt on to most of the inline 6 Mercury outboards.  Selling AS IS with NO RETURNS due to the fact I haven't been able to run the motor. This powerhead weighs 122 lbs, so it will be shipped freight. Whatever quote the ebay auction is giving you is not accurate. Please email me with your zip code for a freight quote. Shipping to a commercial address with a loading dock or forklift should be a pretty reasonable price (around $150).
Feel free to email me with any questions. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. Shipping is fast and FREE.

UPDATE. I HAVE REMOVED THE FLYWHEEL, STATOR AND TRIGGER. THEY WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION

Audi A1 1.6 TDI nips below 100g/km Co2

Tue, 21 Jun 2011

Audi A1 1.6 TDI - beat the congestion charge It’s of no use whatsoever for anything that actually matters, but getting below 100g/km Co2 is a big marketing deal for any car maker. Which is why Audi has been busy tweaking the Audi A1 1.6 TDI. Since launch, the A1 1.6 TDI has been churning out 105g/km which, although it’s all of tuppence a week, gets charged VED simply because the government has decreed Co2 to be the measure of a car’s frugality (it’s not).

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta design story uncovered [w/video]

Wed, 14 Mar 2012

Ferrari has revealed the secrets behind the design and development of its new F12 Berlinetta in a short video. The renowned Italian supercar manufacturer released the video, which focuses purely on the design process behind the F12 Berlinetta, the successor to the 599 GTO. The video, released as one part of a series, charts the development of the Berlinetta, the fastest that Ferrari has ever created, from the original sketches through the digital and clay modeling phases to finally deliver the finished product. The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, one of the most hotly-anticipated cars of 2012, was officially unveiled at last week's Geneva motor show to crowds of fellow designers and members of the press as it appeared on both Ferrari and Pininfarina stands.
