This complete Short Shaft Lower Unit was removed from a 650 Mercury 3 cylinder fresh water motor (Serial number 42597xx) . It appears to be in good usable condition. Being sold as it was removed. Saab to get BMW turbocharged engines in 2012
Wed, 29 Sep 2010Saab Automobile and BMW AG announced an agreement Wednesday that will supply engines for Saab's next-generation 9-3. Under the agreement, BMW will provide Saab with four-cylinder 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engines starting in 2012. The engines will be adapted to meet Saab's specific requirements.

Fisker to face Congressional committee probe
Wed, 24 Apr 2013Henrik Fisker's congressional testimony on Wednesday before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will paint the automaker he founded as a victim of "a confluence of events" and as a still-salvageable enterprise. Fisker, who resigned from Fisker Automotive on March 13, is among the automaker and government representatives scheduled to appear before Congress to answer questions regarding $193 million in Department of Energy loans made to the company. Fisker Automotive has appeared to be on the brink of filing for bankruptcy for the past few weeks.
