This is a used 1978 Mercury 9.8, model 110, 2 stroke, short shaft outboard motor, 50:1 fuel ratio, with a 3 gallon plastic gas tank. This motor has very low hours, probably 5 hours or less. It was originally purchased new by a sail boater. It was then purchased by a fishing buddy of mine for a trolling motor, of which he never used and was inside storage after all this time. I have been wrenching on boats all my life. After I saw what condition the motor was in I accepted it as payment on marine mechanical work for him. I put a new water pump impeller in it, changed gear oil and serviced the carburetor. When you come to pick up this motor it will be started up so you can hear and see it run before payment. This motor is very clean and in excellent running condition. Remember, this is a you pick up item only in Lorain, OH. The Leaf, which was unveiled earlier this summer, will receive its world show debut but this is the first time we've seen the new Nissan Land Glider – a narrow electric vehicle concept that leans into corners.The Land Glider is an urban transport solution, Nissan's take on how we could whizz around town in a decade's time. It has a cigar-thin body with room for just one passenger and Nissan says its width will reduce congestion and make it easy to park.
