Mercury Marauder Black Leather Jacket - Xl - Includes Garment Bag - Broken In on 2040-parts.com
Grand Ledge, Michigan, United States
Mercury Marauder $38,000 jacket and garment bag (came with a free Marauder). Extra Large. This jacket has some miles on it. Certified (by me) to have traveled at speeds exceeding the legal limit! Has traveled internationally and been folded into overhead bins. Shows wear. I've tried to show the scuffs on the right pocket area (I carried a leather computer bag that rubbed on the right side). The jacket and all seams are solid. No tears in the jacket or pocket linings. No rips or tears in the jacket, just the afore-mentioned normal wear. But, c'mon, do you really want to wear a brand-new-looking black leather jacket? Wouldn't you rather have one that looks like it's been around for years? Soft, comfortable, fits great. I'm 6'4", 225, and it fits like it was tailored. My wife wants me to keep it if you don't buy it! But, I wouldn't wear a Harley T-shirt if I didn't own the bike, and I've long since sold my '04 Merc. This was lost in the back of the closet and now it's time to find it a new home. Free UPS shipping, because that's the right way to do it. |

"Room for debate" on minimum driving age increase
Tue, 28 Jan 2014MOTORISTS are concerned about the minimum driving age, according to new research. More than a third of drivers (35%) think the minimum age should be raised, with 40% of those people believing the starting point should be 21, according to the study carried out by British Car Auctions (BCA). Four in 10 of all people questioned said they felt that a reduction in the overall accident rate would be a welcome outcome of an adjustment of the legal minimum driving age.
The fall and rise of the budget car
Fri, 06 Sep 2013Twenty years ago, the classic bargain brands like Lada seemed to be going the same way as the Soviet empire that spawned them. Woefully dated and badly made, only a weirdo would have bought a new Lada rather than a second-hand model from Ford, Vauxhall or VW. However, one of the big trends in the car industry today is the re-emergence of bargain cars.
