1985 Mariner 40 HP Part - Complete Power Head with Magneto Assembly I did not check the compression on the engine when I took it off but it was pushing my 17.5 Bass Tracker to an easy 25 to 27 mph with two people. When the lower unit locked up it not do anything to the power head. In good working condition complete with bolts, ready to use was working when I took it off the engine. Engine specs are 40EL Serial Number 6E9 L 415011 The reason I took it off the engine is becasue the lower unit locked up on me and it was going to cost too much money to repair it so I am parting the engine out. As I mentioned before before the engine was in good running condition. I will be listing more parts off of this engine.
