Genuine Mercury OEM lower unit not Chinese-made SEI junk!  Off mid 1980's 3-cylinder 2-stroke.  Fits 2-cylinder 35 and 40 hp, four-cylinder* 45 and 50, and 3-cyl 50, 60,65 and 70 HP 2-stroke Mercury and Mariner outboards from at least the late 1960's until discontinuance of that engine type in 1988. This unit is in good, serviceable, bolt-on condition; powerhead lost compression in one cylinder so it's being parted.  Priced dirt cheap and shipping's reasonable, too, via FedEx Ground. .If you have the SLIGHTEST doubt whether this item will fit your outboard; PLEASE Ask-a-Question BEFORE bidding; if this isn't the correct part I probably have one that is!

Milk float sets new speed record

A SUPERCHARGED milk float has picked up a new world record after reaching a speed of 84mph on a racing circuit. The specially-adapted vehicle, sponsored by Weetabix On The Go Breakfast Drinks, beat the existing top speed for a milk float of 77mph on the tarmac at Bruntingthopre in Leicestershire. Complete with bull-bars, and boasting a V8 engine, the float was crafted from a traditional 4mph electric float.

London rush hour 'worst in UK'

ANALYSIS of in-car telematics data has revealed that London commuters get the worst deal in rush hour, with average speeds 30% slower than those across other British cities. The study of 20 million miles of telematics data by Direct Line Drive Plus shows that despite London having more congestion-fighting measures than anywhere else in the country, its road-based commuters suffer worse peak time traffic misery than anywhere else. During peak times, cars in Westminster travel at an average speed of just 10.06mph, compared to a figure of 14.38mph across the biggest British cities.
