This a freshwater standard long(20") detented shaft lower unit from a '77 Merc 850 with the correct 2.3:1 ratio. Fluid came out with no metal and was milky but pressure tested at 10psi for a period of 1 hour after new shift shaft seal. Comes with new impeller,whale tail and trim tab. Whale tail will be dismounted for shipping. Shift feels positive both forward and reverse. There is a small chip in the housing at the prop visible seen in about the fourth picture.  Fits many models but do your own research. Sold as is/as described with no warranty or return.
