Genuine Mercury Marine Front Face Plate for Cowling This is a front cowl cover/face plate from a Mercury outboard. Definite signs of wear, silver decal peeling a little at top and bottom. Overall looks good cosmetically with lettering, stripes intact. Not much to see in back. Measurements: Approximately 10-1/2" High, 9" Wide This was in a group I found in a box at my Granddad's boat store and with most of them, I don't know exacty what motor they came off of. Many will fit a range of models. I'm including measurements and any info I can find regarding what they might fit, but can't guarantee a particular model. Wed, 23 May 2012New Mercedes SL 350 costs £72k The new Mercedes SL arrives in the UK next month (June) and will cost from £72,495 for the SL 350. Mercedes revealed the all new SL roadster – the first new Mercedes SL in a decade – just before Christmas, but it’s taken almost six months more to find out what it’s going to cost in the UK. With the first SLs arriving on our shores in June, Mercedes couldn’t really have left it much later to let customers know that the entry-level point for the new SL goodness is going to be £72,495 for the BlueDIRECT 3.5 litre V6 SL 350, rising to £83,445 for the 4.7 litre BlueDIRECT V8 SL 500.
Sell-Out Goodwood Revival Wows The Crowds
Tue, 16 Sep 2014A SELL-OUT crowd of 148,000 enjoyed the 17th Goodwood Revival Meeting on the weekend of September 12-14 at the Goodwood Motor Circuit. The on-track highlights included the annual RAC TT Celebration race for early-1960s GT cars, comprising a £150 million field that included Jaguar E-types, Aston Martin Project cars and even a Bizzarini. The 60th anniversary of the Jaguar D-Type was marked with a 30-car parade plus the Lavant Cup race exclusively for examples of the Le Mans-winning British sportscar, while the Maserati 250F also turned 60 with variants of the Italian grand prix car making up two thirds of the Richmond Trophy field for front-engined F1 machinery of the late 1950s.
BMW i3 Coupe concept
Tue, 27 Nov 2012It may be dubbed a concept but this BMW i3 Coupe is ostensibly the debut of the production version of the innovative new B-segement EV at the LA auto show. The Coupe is a new variation on the now-familiar i3 although in reality it's more three-door than true coupé. At 3,964mm, 1,768mm wide and 1,555mm high, the Coupe is lower than the five-door i3, while its front and rear screens have faster rakes.
