Carmel Concours stages a strong comeback

Under unusually blue skies and warm temperatures, the sunscreened faithful ogled a varied and eclectic lineup, from Ferraris and Porsches to the Ford tractor owned by Carroll Shelby's doctor. Fiat 500 gets dressed up by Mopar
Thu, 28 Jul 2011Chrysler is cranking up its Mopar parts unit to make it easier to customize the diminutive Fiat 500. Mopar will have more than 150 parts for the Fiat, including a Wi-Fi router to turn your microcar into a wireless hot spot. "The Fiat 500 is one of the most accessorized vehicles in Europe," said Pietro Gorlier, president and CEO of Mopar, Chrysler Group LLC's service, parts and customer-care brand.
SCCA, IMSA champion joins Survive the Drive
Tue, 06 Dec 2011Bob Sharp, SCCA and IMSA GTU champion, has joined the board of directors of Survive the Drive, an organization aimed at educating teen drivers about auto safety and crash prevention. Sharp joins Sam Posey and John Fitch as representatives from the motorsports world. Survive the Drive began in 1997 in northwestern Connecticut with Skip Barber Driving School instructor Bob Green.
