This gorgeous 1952 MG TD has been kept in a temperature controlled building since we got it 13 or so years ago and has matching numbers. It came from an auto museum in Minnesota where, we were told, it was given a top notch restoration- we do not have paperwork substantiating this, but due to the number of miles on the odometer and the excellent condition of the vehicle we do belieive that this car has been professionally restored. This is definitely a car to be seen in as it gets many admirers everytime it goes out! This fine automobile can been seen at Roadside Attractions, 3549 S Lapeer Rd. in Metamora, MI. Alfa owners throw a party for iconic brand
Wed, 23 Jun 2010Alfa Romeo turns 100 on June 24, and the Capital Chapter of the Alfa Romeo Owners Club (AROC) is celebrating the famed Milanese maker's centennial with a weeklong series of festivities called “Alfa Century 2010.” Centennial celebrations take place June 21-27 in numerous locations throughout the world including in Milan, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and during the Monterey weekend. But the Washington, D.C.-based AROC Capital Chapter's birthday bash represents the largest Alfa-exclusive commemoration in the United States. Chapter president Harlan Hadley said he expects a terrific turnout of Alfa Romeos from all eras of “Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili” (A.L.F.A.) history.

Range Rover Evoque Cosworth: the faster Evoque
Wed, 08 Dec 2010The new Range Rover Evoque is soon to rub shoulders with British tuning specialist Project Kahn. This teaser picture has surfaced online, suggesting a full-on makeover, showing off go-faster stripes and Cosworth branding to give the Evoque a sporty edge. Kahn is rumoured to be working on Ford's 2.0-litre EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which has plenty of scope for tuning. The Blue Oval produces a maximum of 240bhp in its current applications. Alex Yeung of Kahn Designs confirmed the project to CAR.
