Minn Kota® Goes Small with New i-Pilot® Micro Remote

July 2014

PR-MicroRemoteContinuing its tradition of angler-minded thinking, Minn Kota® announces the newest i-Pilot® accessory, the Micro Remote.

The Micro Remote provides quick command of speed, steering, Spot-Lock, Advanced AutoPilot™ and prop on/off, all from a compact design. It is waterproof, floats and comes standard with a neck lanyard.

The Micro Remote is compatible with both  i-Pilot and i-Pilot® Link™ systems, and works along with the existing remotes.

“i-Pilot and i-Pilot Link offer a vast array of features with an integrated LCD remote control that makes it easy to keep track of each active function,” Minn Kota Senior Product Manager Dave Maryanov said. “However, for the times when you simply need quick command of steering and the most used i-Pilot and i-Pilot Link features, the Micro Remote is the perfect solution.”

Mazda BT-50 pick-up truck (2010) news, photos

Thu, 14 Oct 2010

Mazda is unveiling its new Mazda BT-50 pick-up at the 2010 Australian International Motor Show this week. As befits a car launched in Oz, the new BT-50 is a lifestyle pick-up or ute aimed as much at the leisure market as brickies.   Previously, Mazda had only issued the design sketch above, but today the company issued the first official pictures of its new truck. There's been a gaping hole in Mazda's UK line-up this year as the previous model was on run-out; the BT-50 used to sell in reasonable numbers, but waning sales and shifting tax systems have made the pick-up market shrink and Mazda only sells a few hundred here in a typical year. That's why there are no plans to launch the new BT-50 in the UK – despite it being homologated for Europe. These first official photos show the new BT-50 offers an interpretation of Mazda's family face with the sweeping five-pointed grille and sweptback headlamps.

Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale by Zagato (2011) first pictures

Thu, 28 Apr 2011

Italian design house Zagato has announced the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale, a road-going follow-up to 2010's TZ3 Corsa racing car concept which won Concept of the Year honours at the Villa del'Este Concours last May. Zagato will build nine TZ3 Stradales, meaning a total of 10 TZ3s will help celebrate Alfa Romeo's centennary. Tell me more about the Alfa TZ3 Stradale by Zagato As befits the 'Stradale' name, this is a TZ3 for the street, following on from the 2010 TZ3 Corsa track car.

Vauxhall Meriva (2010) – first interior photos

Mon, 18 Jan 2010

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 18 January 2010 09:45 Vauxhall has issued these first official photos inside the new 2010 Meriva mini-MPV. By swinging open its suicide doors (FlexDoors, in GMspeak), we're given our first peek inside ahead of the new Meriva's Geneva motor show debut. It's very Astra-like in here, with a horizontal, wraparound 'wing' section circling the dashboard and running into the door cards. And – at last – the chunky A-pillars on the previous Meriva have been slimmed down a little, removing some of the hideous blindspot that's blighted the first-gen mini-MPV.
