This is a rare cap with the R embossed on it but without the later (1969+) Patent Number.

Cap is Brown with Copper Contacts and single window.

Says  "Patent Pending R" on top.

The brown caps with Copper Teminals were used on the special high performance cars with TI Ignition.

So this should be on a 1968 L88 and the Z28 and other TI Ignition Cars.

Please check to make sure this is the cap for your application.

Been on my shelf in a box for 20+ years.
