A set of used rare and hard to get gauge cluster taken off a JDM Galant A52 GS (right hand drive, bottom one in the first photo). Fits the dashboard of the early model Galant. Can also be fitted to left hand drive dashboard but a few minor modifications needed as this doesn't fit perfectly to the contour of the LHD dashboard but it can be done and has been done. There are a few crack lines on the circuit board at the back which could need soldering (see last photo, bottom cluster, on the right part).

.
I will also throw in the non-tacho cluster as spares as the tacho one has it's clock-adjusting cable missing (see last photo).

Will be a nice upgrade to the rectangular shaped speedometer found in early Galants.

Drivers fail car insurance test

Mon, 11 Mar 2013

On a 10-question, multiple-choice test asking respondents to choose correct definitions for basic auto insurance terms, the average score was 32 percent out of a possible 100 percent, according to insurance.com. The test group included 500 drivers of all ages and from various regions of the United States, but apparently no matter what the details, nobody really knows much about car insurance. When broken down into demographic segments, women outscored men by about 8 percentage points on average, and drivers in the south beat out those in the northeast by 10 percentage points.
