For sale I have an original pair of thru-the glass hinged vent wing windows to convert cars with inferior opening vent wings that had glued-on locks and hinges, or to convert the solid triangle (non opening) windows
These are for Mk1 chassis generation VWs - Golf 1 / Rabbit (1977-1984), Jetta (1980-1984) and Cabriolet thru 1993 year model Rubber seals are in good used condition (not hardened / brittle) as can be expected from a 20+ year part. I always recommend applying a thing layer of clear (or black) silicone over the rubber inside and out for protection & perfect seal. I would not hesitate to put these on my car. These have the light green tint, which was pretty much the only window pane that was installed on Mk1 cars sold on US-market Plastic hinge mechanism is solid without wobble (adjustable with Allen wrench), hinges are strong and solid as well Came from a California car, not rusted through I can provide the buyer an installation guide with pictures to make the swap easy. Summer is here, you will love these! I converted my late Mk1 Cabriolet that came with the solid triangles with a pair of these, all you need to do is crack these open and let in the breeze...
