In this auction, I am offering you one (1) pair of Monroe Limited Edition Gas Deluxe shock absorbers.  These were purchased 8 - 10 years ago from Kragen Auto back when my brother was in the process of rebuilding his 1968 Camero.  Unfortunately, he was unable to complete his project.  These LE10009 Limited Edition shocks were designed and recommended as "Street Performance" shocks for the 1960's Chevys and Mopars.  They provided much more stability on the front end.  These are for the FRONT only.

My research shows they should be approximately 8" when compressed and 12.25" when fully extended.  I am not a mechanic, so all of this information was found on the internet through a lot of searching.

These shock absorbers are Brand New and come with all of the mounting hardware.  These are made in the U.S.A.  The box, however, has seen better days.  I will be shipping the shocks and hardware in a replacement box.  If the winner of the auction wishes to have the original box shipped also, I will do so, but there will be additional shipping charges than what is calculated on this auction.  The winner would then need to contact me prior to paying for the auction for me to make the needed adjustment to the shipping charges on a new invoice.

I am listing three shipping methods, so the winner can choose the method which fits their needs the best.  Please read below.

DUE TO THE USPS DROPPING "PARCEL POST", I AM NOT USING THE POSTAGE CALCULATOR AS IT IS NOT ACCURATE FOR "PARCEL SELECT".  THE SHIPPING AMOUNTS ARE THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT YOU COULD PAY.  I WILL SEND AN INVOICE BASED ON YOUR ACTUAL SHIPPING ADDRESS WHEN THE AUCTION HAS COMPLETED.  PLEASE DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN INVOICE.

HOWEVER, IF YOU WOULD LIKE A QUOTE ON THE ACTUAL SHIPPING CHARGE TO YOUR ADDRESS, PRIOR TO PLACING A BID, PLEASE CONTACT ME AND I WILL GET ONE RIGHT TO YOU.

I APOLOGIZE FOR THIS INCONVENIENCE!!

The original price for the pair was just over $68.  My starting bid is a mere fraction of this amount and the Buy-it-now price is a steal.

Please contact me with any questions you may have prior to placing your bid or making your purchase.  I will try to answer or find the answer to your questons in a timely fashion.

I have been unemployed since March, so I am offering many trading cards, collectibles and misc. items up for auction.  I have been an eBay member for many years and have 100% positive feedback as both a buyer and a seller, so please bid with confidence.

Good luck and "Thank You!" for bidding on my auctions.

Wed, 29 Apr 2009

The new BMW X1 on the road for the first time The X1 is designed to be a proper, compact SUV, aimed at a younger market, with less to spend, than most of BMW’s current offerings. Based on the 1 series platform, this shot seems to look exactly like the concept car (BMW X1 Concept gallery at the end). Not sure about the brown paint job, though.

Buick Regal unveiled in Hollywood

Fri, 13 Nov 2009

Buick unveiled its 2011 Regal sedan Thursday night at the once-and-future-famous Hollywood Palladium, a new car from an old division being shown at an old dance hall that just got a full renovation. Is there an analogy in there someplace? The Palladium opened its doors with a Tommy Dorsey concert in 1940, at a time when Buicks ruled the road.
