Up for auction is a newly rebuilt Mopar 727 big block street/strip auto trans with a reverse manual valve body. This is a 1973 440 trans that was in a car I had a few years ago. I had it rebuilt by a 30 Chrysler dealership trans guy a few months ago and sold the car without it. It is ready to bolt in and go. It also has a deep trans pan with a drain plug in it. It has MT. MAN scribed on the bell housing. That guy is known in the Martinsburg WVA area and he first built the trans for a friend of mine. It worked great I just wanted it gone through again to make it fresh. Mopar part number 3681056 stamped on the side. It does not have a torque converter. This will be a pickup only item due to the weight. It is located in northewestern Virginia close to the intersection of Interstates 81 and 66. Thank you for looking, any questions please ask. Check out my other items. I am going to the Fall Carlisle show on October 3rd and 4th. I can bring it with me for pickup there at no charge.

One bit of film shows a lorry overturning, while another shows a truck ploughing into the back of a car. The footage prompted a Government minister to warn drivers that "saving a few seconds on your journey is simply not worth it".

Lutz deflates talk of new Chevy Caprice

Fri, 17 Jul 2009

Well, that was fast. Just four days after Bob Lutz, General Motors' new marketing honcho, raised the possibility of the Pontiac G8 living on as a new Chevrolet Caprice, he shot it down. "The G8 will not be a Caprice after all," Lutz wrote on GM's Fastlane blog on July 16.
