Finally, a true bolt-on  Mopar rocker arm geometry correction kit available for Small and Big Block Chrysler engines.  No need for expensive machine work or high dollar pro-stock or stock car type systems that are overkill for all but the highest performance racing engines.

Anytime roller rocker arms and/or performance cams are used, the valvetrain geometry changes, and almost always for the worse.  The result is:

§         Increased valve guide wear (yes, even with roller rockers)

§         Decreased rpm capability (valve float)

§         Decreased valve spring life from overstressing

§         Possible valve breakage

§         Increased wear (pounding out) of valve seats

§         Unnecessarily high valve spring pressures

§         Burned pushrods or adjusters

§         Frequently adjusting valve lash

§         Lack of consistency (hard to tune)

§         LOSS OF HORSEPOWER

At B³ Racing Engines, we have over 25 years experience building and racing Mopar engines and we saw firsthand how little is available for the budget-minded racer or street-strip enthusiast who still wants the most performance for their dollar.  In the past, with the fixed rocker shaft system, it was difficult to correct rocker geometry without pulling off the heads, sending them to the machine shop to have the stands milled off and new stands made to put the shafts in the proper location.  Talk about expensive!  Not only that, but if you bit the bullet to buy high priced rockers whose stickers adorn the sides of pro-stock cars, you still have to cut the head stands to locate the rockers properly.  With our kit, the only thing you have to pull off the motor is the rocker system and pushrods.  The only machine work that may be needed is to elongate the bolt holes in the rocker shafts (more likely on big blocks), or in rare cases clearancing the pushrods holes (usually on aftermarket heads).

Our kits are made from high strength heat treated billet 6061-T6 aluminum and include 10 shaft spacers (to raise and offset the rocker shaft the proper amount), 10 offset hold downs (they help keep the shafts round), 10 grade 5 bolts, 10 washers, and instructions.  These spacers have the proper radii for fitting the stands and will not crack the stands like shims will, which by the way, don’t even come close to correcting geometry on a roller rocker set-up.

Because the kit moves the rocker shaft, longer pushrods will be required.  After installing our kit, we recommend using a length checking pushrod to determine the correct length pushrod to order.

Purchase of a custom kit will require the purchaser to supply us with measurements from your valvetrain.  They are easy measurements but will require a dial caliper and a sliding combination square.  Custom sets may take up to two weeks to manufacture after receipt of the required measurements.

With our kit installed, you should:

§         Have increased reliability

§         Have increased tuneability

§         Have increased rpm capability

§         Have decreased wear

§         Have increased HORSEPOWER

While we believe you will see a noticeable improvement in performance, we can’t guarantee you will. After all, we didn’t build your car.  There are many things that affect performance so if the rest of the vehicle is not right, our kit may not make an improvement until those things are corrected as well.  What we can guarantee is that we used sound geometric engineering principles to produce a kit that will correct one of the biggest problems Mopar guys face when it comes to engine performance.  We are so confident in our product we will give a full purchase price refund for ninety days, whether installed or not, if you are not satisfied.

International buyers will pay actual shipping costs and fees. Contact us through ebay messaging for a quote before purchase.

Please do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have.  Your satisfaction is our ultimate concern.   We look forward to doing business with you.

Silverstone unveils new F1 Circuit

Sat, 01 May 2010

The new Silverstone F1 Circuit was revealed this week Bernie will be pleased It’s been a bit of a saga for Silverstone and the BRDC of late, with a backwards and forwards ‘will-they, won’t-they’ get to host the British Grand Prix going forward. Bernie Ecclestone finally announced that Silverstone would host the 2010 British Grand Prix back in December  - although it could be argued only by default after Donnington went belly-up – and the circuit upgrades are nicely in time for the 2010 British Grand Prix in July. Prince Andrew did the official opening on Thursday and got the chance to lap the track in a 2-seater F1 car with Damon Hill at the wheel and former F1 driver – and now BBC pundit – David Coulthard also on track in a Red Bull.
