Moroso Oil Pump Pickup - - OLDSMOBILE 455 BIG BLOCK BASE N/A V8 ; - OLDSMOBILE 403 SMALL BLOCK BASE N/A V8 ; - 24460 Moroso Extended Oil Pump Pickups are engineered to be where the oil is under the most demanding racing conditions. Each pickup is designed to fit specific Moroso Oil Pans and may be used with the Oil Pumps noted in the Application Charts. Moroso Pickups may also be used with other manufacturers' pans depending on the sump design. Each steel pickup is precision bent, heliarc welded and finished in black oxide. The wire mesh steel screen, which is welded to pickup box, traps debris without restricting oil flow. Note: Pickups should be bolted, and then brazed or welded to the oil pump.

Umea University students complete Saab collaboration project

A selection of first-year students from Sweden's Umea University have completed a 10-week collaborative design project with Saab. Tasked with exploring new directions for the brand, students were encouraged to investigate the interplay of brand and identity. Each of them was assigned a non-automotive brand to reflect on parallels that could be established between that brand and Saab, whilst also capturing the essence of the Swedish carmaker through their project's concept, its proportions, surface language, details, graphics, functionality and material choices.
