“This back drive Moroso tachometer is made for a dash bracket or dash hole of 3". It's in excellent condition but does have lens clouding and a scratch or two as the photos show the Black paint is flaking off the back side. The stainless bezel ring does not have any dings in it. These mechanical tachometers were what put Moroso on the map in the 70’s with the drag racers. Actually made by the Jones Motorola company (right on the East coast) with Stahl, Moroso and several others that had Jones/ Motorola private label the different tachometers they made.”

Fisker Karma plug-in hybrid recalled over possible battery-cooling system defect

Fisker Automotive is recalling 239 Karma hybrid cars to fix a defect in the vehicle's high-voltage battery. The recall notice, posted today on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Web site, says the campaign targets all 2012 Fisker Karma models manufactured between July 1 and Nov. 3 of this year.

Jaguar Land Rover in talks to buy Aston Martin

Talks have taken place between Tata – owners of Jaguar Land Rover – and the Kuwait Investment Dar – owners of Aston Martin. We reported a year ago that Aston Martin needed a big car maker behind it to have any chance of survival, and just last week the world caught up with that story as it was revealed the Kuwait Investment Dar – majority shareholder in Aston Martin – was seeking a buyer for Aston Martin. We said a year ago that Jaguar Land Rover was the best fit as a buyer for Aston Martin, but we doubted JLR would want to go back to being the poor relation to AML – as it was in the days of Ford’ ownership of the brands – where a Jag was a poor man’s Aston.
