Pollution-Free Naval Brass Marine Bearings.  Brass sleeve with rubber oil resistant shaft.  The clean bearing that cushions the shaft installs in minutes and lasts for years.  Morse bearings are engineered to meet the toughest service requirements in corrosive and abrasive marine or industrial applications.  The fluted rubber bearings surface will outlast hard surface bearings by more than ten times.  All materials meet US Navy specs MIL-B-17901A CLII.

BMW i3 EV only scores 4 stars in Euro NCAP test The new BMW i3 is selling well and looks to be a good buy if you do lots of driving in congested urban environments. It offers a decent amount of proper BMW goodness and probably has enough range – even without the optional range-extender engine – to cover most urban drivers’ daily needs. But it seems there is one area the i3 doesn’t come up trumps and that’s for safety – in particular pedestrian safety – scoring a disappointing four stars in the latest round of Euro NCAP testing.

Hyundai Equus gets a stretched version in South Korea

In the luxury game, bigger is better. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that Hyundai has launched a stretched version of the Equus sedan in its home market. It’s called the Equus limousine, and it gets an extra foot added to its wheelbase, stretching the car’s overall length to 215 inches for nearly 18 feet of luxury car.

GM unveils electric Cadillac Converj concept at the Detroit auto show

General Motors pulled perhaps a surprise at the Detroit Auto Show Sunday morning, unveiling an eye-catching two-door Cadillac concept powered by a "future evolution" of the Chevrolet Volt's electric powertrain. Called the Converj, the Cadillac will have a range of 40 miles on electricity, with a potential total range of 700 miles after a generator kicks in. GM says the powertrain, formerly known as E-Flex, is now called Voltec, and could be used in a variety of applications.
