MOTOBATT FAT BOY CHARGER

2 AMP OUTPUT

10 YEAR WARRANTY

9 STEP CHARGING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Qualification Phase:
Initially ensures that the battery is in good condition prior to launching charge processing. As a safety measure charge process will
not begin if the battery is below 2.0V.
  2. Battery Rescue Phase:
MOTOBATT Battery Rescue starts it the battery voltage has risen unusually high in the early portion or the re-charge cycle.
This is usually caused by plate sulfation. Once the battery rescue phase has succeeded in getting the battery to accept power,
    normal battery charging will begin.
  3. Soft Start Phase:
Soft Start is used when the charger has detected a battery at a very low initial state of charge. Voltage and current are delivered
at specified rate to help the battery to recover prior to entering Pulse charge mode.
  4. Pulse Mode Phase:
MOTTOBATT Pulse mode provides a high frequency pulse charge to help the newly recovered battery to continue to accept
charge as it enters the reconditioning phase.
  5. Recondition Phase:
The MOTOBATT reconditioning phase continues to work the battery at a slightly higher voltage and amperage to
"re-activate" the battery plates for improved depth of charge and charge acceptance.
  6. Bulk Charge Phase:
With the battery now through Pulse and reconditioning phases and well on its way to full recovery the MOTOBATT bulk charge phase gives the battery
constant current taking the battery up to 80% of its capacity.
  7. Absorption Phase:
In the MOTOBATT absorption phase the battery is given constant voltage while the current is reduced based on action taken from monitoring the
batteries current state until the battery is 100% charged.
  8. Check Phase:
Battery is now checked to be sure that is holding a charge properly and a charger will make determination and classify the battery for use.
  9. Maintenance Phase:
Battery can be left safely on the charger indefinitely. The unit wills monitor the battery and "turn-on" again as needed to maintain the battery
at a full state of readiness.

Exclusive: Bertone BAT 11 unveiled

Wed, 05 Mar 2008

For the first time in over 50 years, Bertone sadly did not have a stand at this year's Geneva Show, largely due to the severe financial difficulties facing the company. However, that didn't stop them making a surprise debut at the first AutoDesignNight last night in Geneva with the amazing BAT 11 concept, commissioned by American enthusiast Gary Kaberle who owned the original 1955 BAT 9 car. The car was exclusively unveiled before an audience of 400 of the world's top designers at an evening reception at La Sip nightclub in the heart of the city.

Suzuki S-Cross production version at Geneva 2013

Wed, 06 Feb 2013

The Suzuki S-Cross – which arrived at the 2012 Paris Motor Show as a Concept – will arrive in production guise at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The Paris Motor Show last year saw Suzuki roll out a concept for a new C-segment crossover – the Suzuki S-Cross Concept – which was clearly close to production ready. So it’s no surprise that the production version of the Suzuki S-Cross is arriving at the Geneva Motor Show next month – before heading for a Suzuki dealer near you by the end of 2013 – looking very faithful to the S-Cross Concept design.

Sebastian Vettel’s 2013 F1 title: the stats

Mon, 28 Oct 2013

By Ollie Kew Motor Industry 28 October 2013 11:30 In winning the 2013 Indian Grand Prix this week – his six straight victory of this season – Sebastian Vettel became the youngest driver ever to win four consecutive F1 world titles. Only two drivers have ever managed four titles on the trot before him: Juan Manuel Fangio (1953-58) and Michael Schumacher (with five in a row between 2000-2005). Frenchman Alain Prost is the only other driver to have taken four F1 world titles – but no-one’s managed the feat as fast as Seb.
