“These MTU model 8V-396TB93 marine packages, represented to be in low hour, rebuilt condition. Units are rated @ 1300 hp each and are heat exchanger cooled. Engines have just been removed on re-power project from a 70' yacht and are available for immediate shipment. One engine had a failure and it has been represented to us as a possible rod bearing issue requiring a new crank. This may be the case but not guaranteed so we are representing this as a parts engine only. Both have approx 1550 hours since complete MTU 2002 W-6 rebuild by previous owner at a cost of 212,000 USD. Jaguar XF 2.0 litre EcoBoost for China

Jaguar are to fit the 2.0 litre EcoBoost engine to the XF for the Chinese market as a more affordable entry point for the XF range. Even though Jaguar Land Rover are yet to get official Chinese Government approval for their Joint Venture with Chery, China is already a big market for them and, just like other luxury car makers, they are willing to produce cars just for the China market. According to reports from China, the Jaguar XF is about to get the 2.0 litre EcoBoost engine from the Range Rover Evoque to create a new entry-level Jaguar XF at a more appealing price point.

McLaren MP4-12C - destroys the Top Gear Track With plenty of information now floating around on the performance of the McLaren MP4-12C, it’s pretty clear that most feel it to be a quite exceptional car. There do seem to be a few moans about its rather generic design (although that will stop it dating quickly) and some have complained that the MP4-12C doesn’t have the magic a 458 has. Which may have more to do with the different natures of the British and Italians than anything else.

LA Motor Show: Subaru previews fifth-generation Legacy

SUBARU has showcased its new Legacy concept, which strongly hints at the future styling of the brand’s marquee model. At the Los Angeles Auto Show Subaru took the wraps off the preview model ahead of the fifth generation Legacy’s expected launch in 2014, when it will celebrate its 25th anniversary. The company trademarks of a Boxer horizontally-opposed engine and mechanical permanent all-wheel drive will remain, giving the Legacy a degree of sure-footedness that few, if any, rivals can beat.
