This listing is for a custom built hotrod musclecar air cleaner,(this piece is hand fabricated from sheet metal steel and comes bare metal finished,the black painted one is just to show how it can look painted) The air cleaner has a removable base to access the air filter and comes with a new air filter installed along with its part number and the replacement air filters can be purchased at any local auto parts store.The measurements on this piece is 15 inches long by 12 inches wide and around 3 and 1/2 inches tall,it will fit any 4 barrel carb or throttle body with the standard 5 and 1/8 inch flange.This air cleaner is a really nice detailed piece,I put a lot of time and hard work into each piece to assure you are getting a quality part.THESE ARE BUILT TO ORDER SO PLEASE ALLOW 4 TO 5 WEEKS AFTER PAYMENT IS RECEIVED TO BUILD THIS PIECE).

Mercedes CLA starts to roll off production line in Hungary
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The Mercedes CLA – the baby Mercedes CLS based on the new A Class – has started to roll off the production line at Kecskemét in Hungary. But that’s probably unfair; based as it is on the new A-Class, the CLA is a very good car under the skin, even if its big USP is the dramatic styling. Now, just over a week after the CLA got its first public reveal (if you don’t count the Mercedes Concept Style Coupe on which its based), the first production car has rolled off the line at the Mercedes plant in Kecskemét, Hungary.
Mercedes plans electric version of SLS AMG supercar
Fri, 10 Jul 2009Huge news at Mercedes-Benz: Engineers from its AMG performance-car offshoot are developing a plug-in electric version of the upcoming SLS supercar as part of a broad-based efficiency program to place the automaker at the leading edge of socially acceptable performance-car motoring. Tentatively planned for production in 2015, the new zero-emission supercar draws heavily on the production version of the yet-to-be-fully-revealed SLS scheduled to get its first public outing at the Frankfurt motor show on Sept. 15.

Wed, 28 Oct 2009The Focus RS by Loder1899 We finally got round to doing a review of the Focus RS last week and came away deeply impressed. The thought of 300bhp through the front wheels seemed like a barking mad idea, but Ford had managed to pull off the seemingly impossible with the adoption of their clever RevoKnuckle system, which tames the torque steer if not completely eradicating it. We did note that it seemed as if the system was good enough to take even more horses than the RS produces, which you can now find out for yourself if you opt for the tuned Focus RS revealed by German tuner Loder1899 (catchy little name).
