I am selling this short block assembly to be freshened up and rebuilt. It is loaded with all the good original GM high performance parts engine. It is completely blue printed and balanced. 1) 454 .030 4 bolt main 2 piece seal block #14015445 Date L-30-79 2) .030 forged aluminum TRW pistons, open chamber #7060P The same as new part #L2399F 3) GM forged steel crankshaft #7416 (balanced) 4) GM 7/16" dimple rods (balanced) 5) GM corvette trap door oil pan, pump, pickup tube and windage tray. 6) Double roller timing chain and gears 7) GM 8" balancer and timing cover (balancer) 8) Camshaft will have to be checked to see This engine will work great with GM heads 049 and 781 oval port or you can step it up to the 026 rectangle port. If you want aluminum heads then 074 would be the ticket. All these combinations can be ran with pump gas. Winners and Losers: Porsche sales pop in April
Wed, 04 May 2011Porsche sales spiked 82 percent in April and are up 46 percent for the year, parking the luxury automaker among the top five winners so far for 2011. The redesigned Cayenne made the biggest contribution, with sales up an eye-popping 384 percent from last April and 141 percent for this year. Porsche counted 1,578 copies of the Cayenne sold in April, versus 326 the year before.
Euro NCAP finds quadricycles had “severe safety problems”
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Euro NCAP has branched out from cars and crash tested a small selection of “heavy quadricycles” – small, four-wheeled vehicles that were originally developed from motorcycles that are sometimes also known as microcars, and don’t come under the usual car regulations. Although legal for use on the road, these machines do not need to achieve the same rigorous crash test safety standards as ordinary cars. But they are increasingly seen as a fuel-efficient urban transportation alternative, and some of them can be driven teenagers as young as 16.
