This is a NIB AMB Transponder from MyLaps.

This is the all new X2 system (still will work on all mylaps AMB circuits) That has replaced the X 260 transponders completely now, and the old style is noy longer available.  The new X2 is all the same though, with the FLEX you don't have to pay $500+, you pay only for the years you need.  It's also read for the new X2 Link system.  Other than the change in style and increased features, nothing has changed about your purchase.  It's not a lease, you own it. The membership is for registration with MyLaps and starts when you want it to.

If you have questions, 920.850.4000 and we will be happy to accommodate.

NOTE: The X2 is reverse compatible with ALL decoders (what is used at the track to read these little grey boxes, the transponders). The Decoder is the box at the track, the transponder is what we have here. MyLaps X2 Decoders (not this item, these are the transponders) is the new system they are pushing to roll out. The Red AMB transponders will not work with those systems. The Grey X2's (what this listing is for) works with every decoder, old and new. Questions, best to call us 920.850.4000. MyLaps did not explain the X2 the best when they replaced the X 260 so there is a lot of confusion. As a MyLaps dealer, we have talked to organizations, mylaps, and customers to sort out and answer just about every question.

This system is for motorcycles and cars for series such as CRA, WERA, AHRMA, and others.

******Coming soon: X2 Link*******
MYLAPS will bring 2-way communication to the track with X2 Link. X2 Link wirelessly communicates with vehicles on the track over radio frequency. Data flows both ways: the X2 Transponder installed in the vehicle sends official race data to the system. The system immediately converts this data into official race data such as lap time and position and more. This data is then sent back to the vehicle through radio frequency, and the onboard display in the vehicle will display all sorts of vital race information – such as position in the race, gap between vehicles in front and behind and number of laps.

Audi Q5 Cabriolet rumours gather speed

Tue, 10 May 2011

The Audi Q5 Cabriolet - another niche for Audi We all laughed when Audi brought us a Cabriolet SUV in 2007 with the Cross Cabriolet Concept. Who on earth would ever contemplate chopping the top off an SUV for anything other than a Concept we all said? Turns out that Nissan would. We first heard rumours about a drop-top Murano early last year and decided they were mad.
