The JB4 includes a simple plug and play installation harness and is compatible with all ECU versions and transmission types. In addition to several performance maps which can be selected "on the fly" right from the drivers seat the JB4 includes a 100% stock bypass map, a valet mode, ethanol fuel (E85) support, progressive water/methanol injection support, racing fuel map, an auto tuning map that adjusts the JB4 mapping to your current climate, octane, vehicle condition, and modifications continuously, and for those interested an rpm by rpm user adjustable map. Other features include optional in dash gauges for boost and other engine parameters, a programmable shift light, on the fly adjustable torque limiting to aid with launches at the track, an optional 2STEP rev limiter & no lift shifting for manual transmission cars, an optional speed delimiter, and much more.

Reaching potential buyers of custom wheels for exotic cars takes more than buying ads in magazines. Miami-based ADV.1 Wheels is building a business fueled by a social-media approach that includes car-forum interaction, photo shoots and short films on the Internet. The company launched a Facebook fan page in late March, has received more than 59,000 “likes” and aims for 100,000--at which point ADV.1 Wheels has promised to give away a set of the company’s Trakfunction wheels.

KISKA opens new design studio

Austrian brand management and design company KISKA has moved its design studio into a modern new building in Salzburg, Austria, just a few meters from its former location. The new headquarters boasts state-of-the-art workstations and has been built to enable the firm to prepare for expansion and new challenges in the years to come. Designed by Hofbauer architects, the 4700m² building was built in just one and a half years.

We caught what certainly appears to be the next Mini Cooper while driving around Santa Monica. The 2015 Mini won't be terribly different from the current one. It still retains its contemporary, instantly recognizable Mini shape, and its contrasting roof paint.
