Infiniti Q50 revealed ahead of Detroit
Fri, 03 Jan 2014Infiniti has released an image of a new Q50 Eau Rouge concept ahead of its debut at the Detroit Motor Show on January 13. The Eau Rouge is based on the Q50 saloon, and the company says it draws inspiration from the collaboration between Infiniti and Red Bull Racing. For 50 years, vehicles have been making the run up a narrow, twisting paved lane on a stretch of rolling farmland near Leeds, trying to beat the clock. The route, of about 1,600 yards, at one stretch passes between two barns on the property.
Stirling Moss hurt in lift shaft fall
Mon, 08 Mar 2010Sir Stirling Moss has been badly hurt falling down a lift shaft at his Mayfair home Sir Stirling Moss – ‘The best driver never to have been world champion’ – has been hurt after falling down the lift shaft at his home in Mayfair. Reports say that Sir Stirling, who turned 80 last year, broke both ankles, several bones in his feet and damaged vertebrae in the fall on Saturday. A hospital spokesman said Sir Stirling was ‘Comfortable’.
