Saab owners Spyker NV to become Swedish Automobile NV

In the seemingly never-ending saga of Spyker and Saab it does now seem likely that the deal we reported last week with Chinese distributors Pang Da is going to pan out. The messy-looking deal with Pang Da has seen the beleaguered Dutch car maker receiving €30 million already from the cash-rich Chinese, which it’s using to pay-off its suppliers in an attempt to get production lines rolling again in Trollhattan.
Boca Raton concours to honor Milhous brothers
Wed, 11 Jan 2012Well-heeled car fans will be able to get their hands on some highly coveted autos when the Milhous collection goes up for auction on Feb. 24, in a multiday sale that coincides with the Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance. Bob and Paul Milhous of the Milhous Museum will be honored with the Lee Iacocca Award at this year's concours, a distinction that goes to individuals who have perpetuated the American automotive tradition in their dedication to classic-car preservation.
2014 Jeep Liberty prototype caught in spy photos
Wed, 06 Jun 2012The vehicle in these photos might resemble an Alfa Romeo Giulietta from some angles, but the raised ride height, chunky all-terrain tires and slotted grille hiding behind the camouflage suggest a prototype of the 2014 Jeep Liberty. Code-named UJ, the new Jeep Liberty will be built at Chrysler's Toledo, Ohio, assembly plant. A new 3.2-liter V6 will power the Liberty, which will come with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
