Easy to install, these kits feature a precision laser cut stainless steel bracket that tucks discreetly under the tail section of the bike, as well as a premium CNC machined light holder which houses 4 LED lights. The light housing is anodized black and laser etched with Yoshimura's logo. Completing the kit is an anodized aluminum license plate frame which features a silk screened Yoshimura logo.This kit features two, turn-signal mounting locations, depending if you are running a Yoshimura Full System, Slip-On, or the Factory exhaust. Feds researching fire risks from EV batteries, regulator says
Fri, 10 Jun 2011Federal safety regulators have begun an $8.75 million study of whether lithium ion batteries in electric vehicles pose a potential fire hazard, officials said Thursday. Kevin Vincent, chief counsel of the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, said researchers are looking at whether the high-voltage batteries can cause fires when they are being charged and when the vehicles are in an accident.

Wed, 02 Jan 2013The Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible, the drop top version of the GT Speed, has been officially revealed ahead of a Detroit Auto Show debut. Just as expected, Bentley has transplanted all the goodies from the latest version of the GT Speed in to the GTC Speed, which means a fulsome 616bhp and 590lb/ft of torque from the delicious 6.0 litre W12 and, despite gaining more than 200kg to keep the huge Bentley stiff without its roof, the GT Speed Convertible manages to hustle to 62mph in 4.1 seconds – just a tenth slower than the tin-top Speed. That extra lard does have more impact as you head towards 100mph with the convertible taking 0.7 seconds more, but there’s not exactly a paucity of power on offer.
