Chrysler recalls some 2010 Jeep Wranglers over fire risk
Tue, 22 May 2012Chrysler is recalling automatic-transmission-equipped 2010 Jeep Wranglers for a problem with the transmission skid plate. The plate, meant to protect delicate parts from rough terrain, can collect debris near the catalytic converter. That can lead to a fire.

In remarks to a joint session of Congress, Obama gave a sobering assessment of the nation's ills--mainly economic--but said: "We will rebuild, we will recover, and the United States of America will emerge stronger than before." About midway through the speech, the president said: "As for our auto industry, everyone recognizes that years of bad decision-making and a global recession have pushed our automakers to the brink. It’s sort of what you expect from a Concept – the drama goes when production dawns – but the production Orlando is a bit visually underwhelming.
