The M.4 is an aggressively styled, muli-featured helmet that can be used in all forms of racing. The Snell SA2010 rated M.4 helmet features the largest size range of any Bell model, available in sizes XXS to 4XL.

With a lightweight composite shell and large eyeport, the M.4 is a great choice for racers who wear eye glasses or those who prefer a wider field of vision. The M.4 features a comfortable interior fit and maximum ventilation with full chin bar, forehead and top vents. Different mfrs make different shape helmets. This one fits my head well, so I am pretty happy. It is important to try a helmet on to see if it fits. I don't think that can be determined accurately enough online. Going to a motorcycle shop is one way to try different brands. The Kevlar chin straps are a little more awkward than the old style nylon ones but that is the current specification. Don't take the woodworking recommendations seriously [or not]. Seriously? A speed parts catalog has only woodworking options in the products reviews? Now that I have stopped laughing I can continue. Bell has a very confusing visor selection as they have changed helmet models and visor type/numbers mid-stream and the documentation with the helmet is wrong about the visor part numbers. Call before ordering anything other than the original visor.
