Fast New Ford Teased Ahead Of Goodwood Debut

IF YOU want to see the latest fast Focus, there’s only one place to see it: Goodwood’s Festival of Speed this weekend. Ford has chosen the motoring and motorsport festival to showcase its newest Focus ST, as the Blue Oval prepares to roll out the latest version of its family hatch in the coming months. Benefiting from the technology and quality improvements revealed earlier this year for the regular new Focus, the ST will be displayed on the car maker’s stand and piloted up the famous Goodwood hill over the course of the three-day event.

Volvo today revealed its Concept You at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show, as the company continues to evolve its luxury car range. The latest evolution of the Concept Universe, first unveiled at Shanghai earlier this year, showcases the technology and craftsmanship that Volvo will be using in its future line-up, including smart pad technology and a touch-control cockpit. Jaguar F-Type to get V8 engine option

The Jaguar F-Type will get a V8 powerplant in addition to a supercharged V6 when it launches in 2013, Autoweek has learned. The much-anticipated two-seat sports car was confirmed in April at the New York auto show. Jaguar then elaborated weeks later at the Beijing motor show that the F-Type would get a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 pushing out 380 hp.
