This is Aston Martin’s new V8 Vantage, with a new gearbox, styling tweaks and chassis upgrades. You might think it looks little different than before – and that’s no bad thing – but Aston Martin claims the updates amount to ‘most comprehensive programme of enhancements’ since the 4.7-litre version of the V8 Vantage was launched in 2008. Seven automakers agree on standardized fast-charge system for EVs

Seven automakers have agreed to use a common single-port fast-charging system for electric cars in the United States and Europe. The goal is to reduce development costs and make it easier for consumers to adopt electric vehicles. Audi, BMW, Daimler, Ford, General Motors, Porsche and Volkswagen will use identical charge plugs and the same system for communication between the charger and the car in their electric vehicles.

Peugeot Design Lab launched

PSA has launched its new Peugeot Design Lab to design products, services and experiences for clients outside the automotive industry. Peugeot Design Lab, a global brand design studio, is located within the Peugeot Design Centre and utilizes the existing technical and human resources expertise in order to draw from the many years of design experience of the design team. It also comprises of designers from studios from across three continents in Paris, Shanghai and Sao Paolo.
