PN: 12-865-9 Grind: 307-R6 Advertised duration: 307/317 Duration @ .050": 278/284 Lobe separation: 106 Lobe lift: .455"/.440" Valve lift with 1.5 rocker ratio: .683"/.660" Bearing journal diameter: 1.868" (standard Small Block Chevy) Material: Steel billet Intake lobes: HXL Rollers, Lobe # 2235 "The HXL Rollers are intended for high lift applications that require maximum torque and extended RPM. These fall somewhere in between the RX and TK Series in terms of aggressiveness but provide more lobe lift. They are closest to the High Torque .440" lobes but have incorporated our latest profile advancements that should allow higher engine speeds and improved dynamics." Exhaust lobes: NSC Rollers, Lobe # 4160 "The NSC series is very similar to the original NC series but uses a smoother -6 style closing ramp. This fast open, slower closing design works very well on the exhaust side of many applications, especially those that are larger displacement or higher engine speeds than where the original NC designs would be used." I selected and purchased this cam for a 383 SBC project that I never finished; the lift, duration, and LSA were PERFECT for what I was trying to accomplish. It's brand new, was never installed, and only taken out of the bag for pictures. 2014 Chevrolet Volt gets a $5,000 price cut
Tue, 06 Aug 2013General Motors is cutting the Chevrolet Volt's price by $5,000 amid price pressure from rival electrified vehicles. The sticker price on the 2014 Volt, which will arrive at dealerships this month, will be $34,995, including an $810 destination fee. That drops the effective price to $27,495, after applying the $7,500 federal tax credit for the plug-in hybrid.
