Comprop 4 blade composite propeller for Volvo SX and OMC Cobra sterndrives. Only fits Cobra drives that have 19 spline shafts (not 15 spline shafts). This came from a Marina that closed. It has a small nick in one blade (see picture #5), but I think it's shelf wear. I don't think the prop has ever been used.
Used as original equipment by many top-quality boat builders. Why? Testing shows durable Comprop propellers accelerate quicker, run faster, corner better and are smoother on most boats than three-blade aluminum props yet cost 30% less! Made in a computer generated mold assuring each blade is exactly alike. This process – and the four-blade design – results in unmatched smoothness and overall performance that ordinary three-blade aluminum props can’t match. During soft-bottom/low-speed operation, the composite material resisted dings, folds and blunting common to aluminum props. During a high-speed prop strike, the blades are designed to break, absorbing much of the shock and reducing the likelihood of costly drivetrain repairs. New Mexican Supercar company to launch VUHL 05 at Goodwood FoS
Tue, 12 Mar 2013A new track-focused, road-legal supercar from Mexican manufacturer Vuhl – the VUHL o5 – will launch at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Supercar companies spring up all over the place with men in sheds thinking they can take on established supercar makers and take a part of the supercar market in the process. Most fail to get beyond CAD renderings of their dream, but a new Supercar company from Mexico – Vuhl – has the help of established automotive industry names like Ford and Magna Steyr, and they’re promising to reveal their new car – the VUHL 05 – at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.
2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 to start at $54,995

The 200-mph pony car from the Blue Oval comes with a 650-hp, 5.8-liter supercharged V8 and a manual transmission standard.

Mon, 16 Jun 2014The Renault Megane Renaultsport 275 Trophy-R (pictured) breaks a Nurburgring record We knew Renault were planning to take the Megane Renaultsport 275 Trophy to the Nurburgring to have a crack at the FWD production car record and wrestle it back from the SEAT Lean Cupra 280. After some extreme weight saving measures – and some chassis tweaks – Renault managed to push the 275 Trophy round the Nordschleife in 7min 53.4 seconds, beating the SEAT’s time of 7min 58.4 seconds to take the record (video below). But not being one’s to miss a marketing opportunity, Renault has decided that they should celebrate the Nurburgring record with a new limited edition Megane – the Megane Renaultsport 275 Trophy-R Special Edition.
