Fri, 06 Apr 2012

1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spider (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});RM Auctions has added a rare 1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spider to its list of desirable Ferraris offered at May’s Monaco auction. RM Auction’s Monaco sale takes place the same weekend as the Monaco Grand Prix in May, and we’re starting to wonder which will be the biggest attraction after RM revealed a new addition to their list of ultra rare and desirable Ferraris up for auction at their event. The 1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spider – chassis #0680 MDTR – is the rarest of all TRs made and is one of just two factory-built TRCs.

Thu, 15 Sep 2011

Infiniti Etherea will become the B-Class based Infiniti DX in 2014 (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({}); To be entirely fair, the news that Infiniti is going to be build a compact crossover on the new Mercedes B-Class MFA architecture – and that it is the Etherea Concept forming the basis and likely to be called the Infiniti DX – isn’t a huge surprise. We knew last year when Nissan and Mercedes announced a partnership deal that it would impact on Infiniti as well as Nissan. And the first fruits of that have been confirmed by Carl Ghosn, with the news Infiniti will launch a compact crossover in 2014 using the Mercedes MFA platform which underpins the new B-Class.

The BMW 1 Series Lifestyle - available as a 118d or a 120i First up is the BMW 1 Series Lifestyle, which gets a Marakesh Brown paint job (BMW’s favourite colour it would seem at the moment – the new BMW X1 cars are all showing up in that colour), interior components in matching colour, chrome tipped exhaust and 17″ alloys. The second limited edition is the BMW 1 Series Sport, which gets an M-Sports package (including sports suspension, steering wheel and gearlever), unique double-spoke alloys and stainless steel pedals. Both the 1 Series Limited Editions will be available in either 3 or 5 door versions, and you can have either the 2.0 litre petrol – 170bhp and 0-60mph in 7.8 seconds – or the 2.0 litre diesel – 143bhp and 0-60mph in 9 seconds.
