Lamborghini Urus SUV to cost £135,000

Even if the VW board are yet to sign off on the Lamborghini Urus SUV, there’s almost zero chance it won’t make it in to production. With the 2013 Range Rover heading even more upmarket, the Bentley SUV heading for market in 2015 and endless super-SUVs from car customisers the super luxury SUV market is not one Lamborghini can afford to miss out on.

The Mercedes Attention Assist is designed to warn drivers when their driving is becoming a bit erratic as they get tired and lose concentration, with its little coffee cup symbol now proliferating across instrument panels on Mercedes cars. When the time came to replace it, Fiat went back to Bertone, where chief designer Marcello Gandini was charged with designing its replacement. Not happy to simply recreate the 850, he began with a whole new layout by placing the engine directly in front of the rear axle for a mid-engined layout.
