LATCH LEVER IS NOT INCLUDED -  My Supplies have been replenished and the latch kits are now available again for the near future - I decided to order another batch of Custom springs since these had sold out.  Up for auction is a NEW JEEP CJ SPARE TIRE CARRIER LATCH REBUILD KIT (LATCH LEVER "Large Black L SHAPED PIECE in Picture" IS NOT INCLUDED) Kit includes (New Spring, Roll pin & 3 Pushnut retainers) . I finally broke down and had springs custom made to replace the original OEM spring - These are a little beefier in strength - Same exact length as OEM- and will hold up better and longer.  I have included 3 different size Pushnut retainers as many latch handles have wobbled around and worn the shaft down a bit causing the shaft size to shrink. This will allow it to be more of a universal rebuild kit to compensate for that wear.  If you have tried to find the right spring to replace your worn out broken one then this is for you.  I have spent many hours trying to find the perfect fitting Spring to resolve that annoying Latch rattle and this is a Cure not just a band-aid. These fit awesome. You will receive everything pictured EXCEPT the Latch lever. Picture of it is just for illustration purposes so people understand what the rebuild kit is for. Check out the pictures and decide if it's for you.  Check out my other auctions for more AMC and Jeep parts.

Since springs were custom ordered and I have a limited quantity of them available and due to cost involved to order I may not order anymore

Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding as the Latch rebuild Kit will not miraculously show up in  better condition that what you see in the pictures.

I do Ship overseas however please understand shipping is expensive and outside of my control

I generally ship the day after cleared payment has been received however I occasionally miss a shipping day due to my work schedule. EBAY is NOT how I make my living! If you absolutely have to have it ASAP please contact me before bidding. Shipping quoted is for ground service only within the continental USA. Hawaii & Canada & international shipping will be higher so ask for a shipping quote PRIOR to bidding. If you want Express, Overnight or any other shipping expect shipping costs to be higher.

Payment is expected within 2-3 days of auction ending Unless other arrangements have been made ahead of time. Yes due to a Rash of Non Paying Bidders I now have to specify this as well. I'm pretty easy to work with however if you don't plan to pay if you win an auction - PLEASE shop elsewhere

Carroll Shelby's performance-car business is returning to its roots. Shelby Automobiles is changing its name to Shelby American--the original banner used by his sports-car business and the historic Le Mans-winning cars in the 1960s. Shelby says the switch is in honor of the 45th anniversary of two of his most famous cars, the 427 Cobra and the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350.

2011 Hyundai Coupe – Hyundai Veloster – teased

Wed, 05 Jan 2011

The Hyundai Veloster - teased ahead of the Detroit Motor Show For all that Hyundai – and for that matter sister company Kia – have managed to become in the last few years, we need only look towards one car that signposted their potential – the Hyundai Coupe. Cheap as chips – certainly for what it offered – the Hyundai Coupe was a cracking drive and actually looked rather good. Some even claimed it was trying too hard and looked too much like a Ferrari.
