Returns Accepted:Returns Accepted Refund will be given as:Money back or exchange (buyer's choice) Item must be returned within:14 Days Return policy details:There is NO LONG TERM WARRANTY on these parts. I'm just a guy selling parts, not a major parts retailer, so my return policy isn't a return, its an EXCHANGE in the case of a non-working brand new ballast. These are BRAND NEW parts, and out of the hundreds I've sold, I have only had a few DOA. I used to have a return policy, but people would use my parts for testing, or put them in wrong, or forget to seal them, and I absorbed many losses. It costs me real time and money to handle returns, because of ebay fees, paypal fees and testing of the part. As you know, these parts run about 30% of cost of ordering from Acura and are the same part. My margins are too thin to mess around with a return policy that uses my parts for testing purposes. Therefore, if your ballast works for a a few months then dies again, there is NO WARRANTY. IF you need a warranty on the part, go to Acura and pay $450 and have them install it for another $450. Consider my low price to be the warranty. This is because I just can't control the conditions of the install. I have been very generous, but I've had too many people pop a few of these due to moisture and expect me to replace them. Know what you need BEFORE you buy. I only will swap it out for the same part if it is DEAD ON ARRIVAL, not a month or six months later. Here's my advice before you buy. Check all your fuses first. Swap the bulb between the sides. If the bulb doesn't light on one side, check your connections from the car to the ballast and the ballast to the bulb. Then try your working bulb. Use cotton gloves when handling the bulbs. You can narrow down the broken part very quickly. If a bulb works on one side, and not the other its either the ballast or igniter. You can swap igniters as well and figure out exactly which part is dead before you order. Brand New!  Guaranteed to Work

OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer, meaning this part was built by the exact same company, using the exact same tooling and the exact same strict standards as demanded by Acura.

This is NOT a cheap $20-$50 replacement “Kit.”

Acura designed this part specifically for your car.  This part is brand new, fresh out of the box.  It has never seen a day of rain or been through a carwash, or waited for years in a junkyard for someone to pluck it.

Why spend a little less on a junkyard part?

Why go through the hassle of pulling your car apart, replacing your part and worrying having to do it again because you used old parts?  Your original lasted part has lasted until now.  Why not replace it with a brand new exact same part?

WHY BUY USED WHEN YOU CAN GET NEW?

Take a good look at other EBAY sellers!

Our Ballasts & Igniters are BRAND NEW!  NOT USED!

I get questions all the time about how to tell what went wrong when headlight systems fail.  If you are a do-it-yourself kind of person, you can quickly diagnose the problem by swapping out parts from driver to passenger side, or vise versa.

Start first by checking your fuses.  If they look fine, your problem could be the ballast (the larger metal box), the igniter (basically the cord from box to bulb) or the bulb. Troubleshoot by swapping them out between the driver and passenger side, and eliminating the problem part. Remember to wear clean cotton gloves when handling the bulb, as they can't have any contaminants on them.

I also recommend that you seal the connection were the igniter hooks into the ballast with clear silicone caulk when you install your new ballasts.  The biggest killer of ballasts is moisture, and this is the most common point of entry.

Tue, 08 Oct 2013

It's alive! Well, sort of. Ford has developed a car that can not only seek out empty parking spots, but park itself, too—all sans driver.
