Senior transportation design students at Detroit's College for Creative Studies presented their work to the public and industry representatives during the school's annual Student Exhibition earlier this year. The major project brief revolved around the notion of an 'Exquisite Chrysler.' Students had to identify six vehicles from the past that represented a combination of great beauty and good design, regardless of brand. In addition, six examples of great design outside of the automotive realm were to be chosen as possible influences.

Stig's Chinese cousin on Top Gear Tonight Top Gear tonight (Series 18, Episode 2) sees Clarkson and May in China, Hammond doing NASCAR, the Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster & Matt LeBlanc is SIARPC. After the disappointing Top Gear Christmas Special in India, the latest series of Top Gear needed to start with a bang – and it did. Old Top Gear was back with Supercars in Italy and Christmas sins were forgiven.

General Motor's Buick brand is blossoming in China, so the automaker chose the largest Chinese Auto Show this year to unveil its latest concept: the Invicta. Unlike the Riviera concept shown in Shanghai last year, the Invicta is slated for production soon given the level of refinement we saw when we viewed the car in Beijing. And unlike some market-specific new cars unveiled at the show, the Invicta will make its way to other markets across the globe.
