Kia Ceed facelift at 2009 Frankfurt motor show

Mon, 10 Aug 2009

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 10 August 2009 10:01 The Ceed is the car that changed our perception of Kia, and three years after launch the first model the Korean company designed and built entirely in Europe has been given a mid-life facelift. The new looks are obvious, with revised headlights and a tweaked grille meant to give the Ceed the latest Korean family face seen on the Soul. There are also tweaked rear lights, while new front and rear bumpers make the Ceed 25mm longer than before.

McLaren P1 Geneva reveal confirmed & first instrument view

Wed, 06 Feb 2013

The McLaren P1 supercar has been confirmed for a Geneva Motor Show debut and we get the first peek at the P1′s ‘Race’ instruments. McLaren are certainly making the most of the reveal of the P1 and are still keeping the exact specifications close to their chest, although we do know that the P1 will get a modified version of the V8 in the 12C with a hybrid KERS type boost offering something north of 900bhp. But McLaren has thrown us a titbit of extra information with the Geneva confirmation in the form of two photos of the digital instruments in the P1 (inset above and in the main photo gallery for the P1).

Opel Ampera preview

Tue, 27 Jan 2009

Opel has released a teaser sketch of its new five-door extended-range electric car ahead of its public debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March. Based on the Voltec powertrain and chassis architecture of Chevrolet's Volt, the Ampera promises to surpass that car in terms of style by some margin. The body appears to be nearly identical between the A- and C-pillars, but the deformed horseshoe-shaped headlamp design and two-bar grille come straight from the 2007 Flextreme concept, as do the car's tree-branch alloy wheels.
