The estimates showed that there were 450 deaths in reported road accidents in Britain between April and June) - a 12% rise on the figure of 402 in the same period last year. Dallara branches out from track to road with new 2017 sports car plan

In the new September 2014 issue on sale today, Gian Paolo Dallara, the firm's founder, confirms a back-to-basics eponymous sports car due to arrive by 2017. The Dallara road car will be extremely focused: target weight stands at just 850kg, enabled by the use of carbonfibre, just like on the Alfa Romeo 4C that Dallara helped to develop.
