Drayson B12 electric race car hits the track

Chris Harris of "Drive" got behind the wheel of the 850-hp, Drayson B12 electric race car in his latest online feature. Drayson will be one of the teams competing for the Formula E World Championship. Harris first talks to Lord Drayson about the car that he created.

The 3 series has come a long way. While the original 1975 E21 was initially only available as a two-door sedan, it was soon transformed into a cabriolet thanks to an aftermarket conversion kit by Baur. In 1982, the E30 was a two or four-door sedan until several years later, when BMW offered the "Touring" wagon and the full factory-produced cabriolet.

Nissan 370Z convertible likely to break cover at New York auto show

The drop-top version of the Nissan 370Z likely will bow at the New York auto show. The convertible follows the coupe version, launched at the end of December. The open-air 370Z would arrive for the 2010 model year.
