Study: Distracted driving deemed socially unacceptable among young drivers
Wed, 17 Apr 2013A new survey shows that young drivers think it’s socially unacceptable to drive distracted. Of those drivers, 80 percent said sending texts and emails is "unacceptable." But our distracted-driving epidemic isn't solved yet; 37 percent admit to still doing it.
Chrysler announces six recalls
Wed, 10 Apr 2013More than 260,000 vehicles will be impacted by the six recalls Chrysler announced Tuesday. None are particularly serious, but if you own a Chrysler product we've summarized the list below. -- 78,500 Dodge Nitro and Jeep Liberty 4x2 models from the 2007 and 2008 model years are being recalled to brace a heat shield that can loosen and contact the driveshaft, causing wear and possible breakage over time.
Bristol Cars sold to China. Possibly.
Fri, 01 Apr 2011Bristol Cars - is it a Chinese Takeaway Earlier this month we reported the sad demise of the quirky and eccentric supercar maker that is Bristol cars, forced in to administration through a shortage of equally eccentric millionaires to buy their creations from another time. So we weren’t surprised to get an email this morning from China telling us the press there are reporting that the Xinjiang No1 Tractor Company – a State-owned maker of tractors (you’d never have guessed) – had snapped up Bristol Cars from the administrators.
