BMW ActiveHybrid 3 (2012 / 2013): New 3 Series Hybrid details revealedTue, 18 Oct 20112012 BMW ActiveHybrid 3 - on sale late 2012 BMW hasn’t had the most astonishing success with its hybrid offerings to date, but despite that, and following the reveal of the 2012 3 Series last week, they have announced details of the 3 Series hybrid – the BMW ActiveHybrid 3. Just like the recently revealed ActiveHybrid 5, the BMW Active Hybrid 3 will get a 302bhp twin-turbo six-pot (the same engine as the 335i) together with an electric motor which throws an additional 53bhp in to the mix. That should mean a 0-60mph of around 5.5 seconds (although BMW has given us no performance figures) and it will give 44mpg, exactly the same as the bigger ActiveHybrid 5 – and not exactly spectacular. Toyota Land Crusier (2010) revealed +VideoMon, 14 Sep 2009Toyota has revealed the revised Land Cruiser for 2010 But times move on, and Toyota has decided a modest facelift and a re-vamp is called for, and they have released details of the changes for their most iconic model, which will launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show this week, and go on sale in the UK in December. There are a number of styling tweaks inside and out to keep the venerable Land Cruiser fresh, including a revised dash and trim and tweaks to the bumpers and lights. But the biggest news – at least in the UK – is that the Land Cruiser will come with just one engine option – the 3.0 litre D-4D diesel with a five-speed auto-box. Belgian Grand Prix (2013) RESULTSun, 25 Aug 2013Belgian Grand Prix (2013) RESULT After the last outing for F1 in Hungary three weeks ago, Lewis Hamilton goes in to the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps with a win under his belt and pole position too, so he should have had a great chance of another win. But it didn’t work out like that. In fact, the 2013 Belgian Grand Prix turned in to a demonstration of the powers of Sebastian Vettel and his Red Bull, as the German wasted no time taking Hamilton in the very early stages before going on to control the race from the front, and take a resounding victory with his fifth win of the season. 2040Parts.com © 2012-2024.
