Up for auction is a pair of NGK Spark Plugs Sponsor Decals. These are the originals direct from Factory Effex (no repros or knock-offs). They have a white background, black and white lettering with red logo (2 1/4" circle each). You can see many of my stickers on the bikes of the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross Series, Lucas Oils Outdoor Nationals, GNCC and MotoGP. These would be perfect for your snowmobile, jetski, shifter kart, street or dirt bike fender, bodywork or swingarm, ATV, Rhino, UTV, wakeboard, trailer, helmet, car or truck window or just add them to your toolbox, school books, locker or fridge!! These are tough to get you usually can't buy these anywhere, so pass on these and you might not see them again!! Most of my decals are very RARE and I don't have many left! BMW has been hyping its futuristic i lineup for years now, but the long lead time doesn't mean that the highly efficient, carbon-fiber-based vehicles are vaporware. Earlier this month, we test drove pre-production versions of the i3 and i8, and last week, Autoweek reader Frank Cogliano spied the former vehicle on the road. Cogliano caught this wrapped i3 near Stony Point, New York -- about 30 minutes from BMW's New Jersey headquarters.

CAR’s £1000 support for upcoming journalists – in honour of Phil Llewellin

The Phil Llewellin Student Journalist of the Year award will go to the best student writer from the motoring journalism courses at Coventry and Cardiff Universities. The winner receives £1000 and also a work experience placement at CAR magazine, whose pages were graced by Phil Llewellin’s work until his untimely death in 2005. Entries for the award, run by the Guild of Motoring Writers, must be received by 30 September, with the winner announced at the RAC Club in London on 5 December.
